3DiscClinic Updates¶

Bite Enhancement
The new auto mode for bite correction now considers approximately four teeth from both the upper and lower sets before switching off. This adjustment ensures a better overall balance in the bites.
Improvement in the manual bite step to have the selection point active on each step.
The user interface for bite correction has been refined to require fewer clicks, with point selection now available by default, improving ease of use and reducing time spent on tasks.

Scanbody improvements
Improvements in the management of the scanbody acquisition to facilitate easy scanning of the base and areas where the cut tool has previously been applied.

Export Process Update
Users can now export STL and PLY files simultaneously.

Extended Image Handling
For systems with 32GB of RAM, the limit for handling high-resolution images has been extended to 6500 images, allowing for greater capacity and flexibility in image processing.

Region Tracing improvments
Ease of tracing areas when using the cut tool, region tracing for locking regions.

Reorientation of single arch scan
Orientate upper arch to be correctly represented when scan without the opposing arch or without the completion of the bite.

Model Closing Tool Updates
Additional options have been added to enable the user to control how the arches can be orientated and positioned before adding the predefined bases.

User Registration update
Introduction of 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) during the scanner registration process to validate the registration.

Language Support
The software now includes support for the Bulgarian and Hungarian languages.

Online Help update
The 3Disc Online Help is now hosted on the 3DiscCloud.
Support & Settings sections of the 3Disc Online Help are now password protected, and access requires users to login using their 3DiscCloud account.
This will permit the availability of richer online support material in the future.
Updates to Scan&Tell¶

QR Code in Scan&Tell
QR codes have been integrated into the Scan&Tell process. Patient can directly scan the QR code and have access to their 3D Scan.

PDF Update: Improved presentation of the data in the PDF.

3D View link directly to your patients phone
Send an immersive 3D scan directly to the patient’s phone.

Clinical Finding Updates
Better positioning of the findings in the 3D scene.
3DISC Clinic Bug Fixes¶
- Stability of the finalization process has been improved, reducing instances of freezing and ensuring a smoother workflow.
- Fixed an issue where the 2D image sometimes did not appear on hover.
