Using Bite Alignment Tools¶
When you have successfully completed the Bite Alignment for your patient, you can use the Bite Alignment Tools to visually inspect the quality of the alignment.
The Bite Alignment Tools menu is displayed below the digital 3D model in occlusion.
The Occlusion Distance Map¶
To visually check the clearance distance between the maxillary and mandibular arch scans:
- 1. Click on the Occlusion Distance Map icon in the Bite Alignment Tools menu.
- 2. Adjust the occlusal color gradient by dragging the slide-rule to the desired value.
- 3. Click on the Open Jaws tool to inspect the contact points and occlusal distances of the Maxillary and Mandibular arches.
Contact Points¶
Contact points are indicated as shown.
Open Jaws¶
Use this tool to inspect the contact points and occlusal distances of the Maxillary and Mandibular arches.
Swap Jaws¶
Use this tool to swap scanned arches (in case the Mandibular arch was scanned instead of the Maxillary or vice versa).
